Why MP Olmert is still in post when all the loosers are gone?



This is a big question. I asked too many officials in Kenesset, in the government, and in IDF. Most of the answers were blaming:

1. Vinograd comitte wasn't honest with Israeli public because it hide the fact that Mr. Olmert is not qualified to guide the nation of Israel during the second Israel-Lebanese war in 2006.
   
2. Mr. Olmert failed to defend the interest of Israel by guiding its people and its army to an unprepared war against the terrorist organization Hezballah, and he lost the war on the field and in politics but he win his position once again after 14 of august 2006 by supporting himself in very strange way. How is that? I will tell you.
   

After the war and its disastrous outcome on the strategical position of the State of Israel and the great victory of Sheikh Hassan Nassrallah, the USA, Saoudia Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and the Lebanese PM Fouad Siniora worked hard to convince the leaders of Israel main parties by the importance of keeping Olmert in his position as a sign of the strengh of Israel because the changing of the PM of Israel if it comes after loosing war against a small terrorist group like Hezballah would give a great victory to Nasrallah, Bashar Assad, Ahmadinajad. The opinion of USA government and its alliance was right if we look to the picture from the arabic side.
We are here in Israel and we can live a great victory like the one gained by Nassrallah but in short and long term this will cause serious danger to arabs pro-american regimes and the first one to pay back to Nassrallah in that case is Siniora.
In conclusion, we as Israeli citizens live in a State guided by a failure, unqualified and war looser (against 1200 militants only) named Ehud Olmert just to protect Lebanese PM Fouad Siniora in short term and the pro-USA arabic regime in long term from the the impact of the victorious Nassrallah.
